Teen-Beat helped ignite the American independent record label revolution in 1984. Mark Robinson (Unrest) founded Teen-Beat while attending Wakefield High School in with help from friends Andrew Beaujon, Phil Krauth, Tim Moran, and Ian Zack. Teen-Beat is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Arlington, Virginia.
